Victoria Balnaves is a Scottish actress. She trained at Manchester's Arden School of Theatre, and has been working professionally in theatre, radio & television since 2001.
Her radio debut was on BBC Radio3, playing a Yorkshire teenager in a controversial play called "Fireface". Victoria has since played Scots-speaking characters on BBC Radio4, English (RP) characters on Radio Scotland, and she has played the parts of parrots, pirates, water-rats & Vietnamese girls for BBC Radio for Education.
Her voice is now heard regularly on television, as she often records trails for programmes for BBC Scotland. Victoria most recently narrated Artworks Scotland's television programme about Auld Lang Syne.
Her voice has been described, by Edinburgh's
Red Facilities, as "bright, energetic and a good
